Examined through a magnifying glass, each of the stretches of the coral branches resembles a long straight line running parallel to one another. The places where the corals have been broken, look lifeless. If the hydrochloric acid drops are poured onto the corals, fomentations are always found from there. However, the acid does not affect the constitution of the black corals. If the black corals are touched with the live wire then it exudes a foul smell like what we get when human hairs are put on fire.
